SC students will take new state tests beginning in April 2015. These new tests are ACT Aspire™, ACT Workkeys® and The ACT®. Not only will the tests reflect the achievement level of students, but the new tests will help teachers understand where their students are succeeding and where extra help or academic focus is needed. These tests will be an important tool in ensuring student success. Attached is a link to helpful information from the SC State Department of Education on the new state testing program and what it will mean for your student.
Dorchester School District Two is proud to announce the launch of our new website platform. On June 8th, 2015 we will transition from our current School Fusion platform to Edline. In order to make the transition successful for all of our users, we are encouraging parents, students and staff to save any personal files currently stored on School Fusion to an alternate location. As of June 8th, you will no longer be able to access websites or files on School Fusion. Please see the attached document for instructions on saving personal files.

1. The front page history section (HISTORY FORM) should be filled out completely by the parent
2. Parent Permission and Acknowledgement must be signed by a parent. (BOTTOM OF HISTORY FORM)
3. Student athlete should report with the completed forms to their school nurse for their pre-screening to include height, weight and vision screenings. April 13 - 23, 2015.
4. Go get a free Pre-Participation Physical Exam(PPE) at ARHS on April 25th, 2015

Want to play football next year? All interested 6th, 7th,and 8th graders are invited to participate in a football skills combine Tuesday, April 28 after school. The combine is hosted by Fort Dorchester and OMS coaching staff.
Please be advised that all athletic events held in the district have an admission fee.
ALL Gate Proceeds help to fund Dorchester School District Two Middle School Athletic Programs for our young ladies and young men.
